Quad Splash — Water Chain Strategy Guide
Quad Splash is a casual chain-reaction puzzle inspired by the classic "ten drops" game. You drop water to trigger cascades and clear the board with as few moves as possible. This guide explains the mechanic and the mindset behind a big combo.
The core rule
A cell holds up to a few droplets. Drop one more than its capacity and it bursts, sending a droplet to each neighbor. Chain those bursts together and a single drop can flood the whole board.
Reading the board
Look for cells sitting one droplet below their limit — they are primed to burst. A well-placed drop into a cluster of primed cells sets off a satisfying chain.
Strategy
- Build pressure first. Top up several cells before triggering the cascade.
- Aim for corners and edges, where bursts wrap and amplify.
- Plan two steps ahead: the burst you start should feed the next cell you want to pop.
Scoring
Longer chains multiply your score. A board-clearing combo is worth far more than several small isolated bursts, so patience beats spamming drops.
Tips
If you get stuck, reset and study the layout for a moment — the best first drop is usually the one that connects the most primed cells.
